Paris In Town closes for "summer break" in Bethesda, but landlord wants $70K back rent

Paris In Town
is closed at 4903 Cordell Avenue in Bethesda. A sign in the window states that the French cafe is taking a "short summer break." The length of that break may be determined by whether or not the restaurant can pay over $70,000 in back rent. A Montgomery County District Court notice on the window of the restaurant indicates that a trial date regarding the unpaid rent has been set for August 4 at 1:30 PM. Paris In Town opened in April 2022.

Interesting. Cinco de Mayo -- no kidding! The few times we went there during reportedly open hours, the place was closed.

Once again the Smash Burger location claims another business. That location just cannot keep places. The landlord must be impossible
