The lobby is now under construction inside the ground level of the Solaire 7607 Old Georgetown in downtown Bethesda. That lengthy branding is now written in stone - or at least, affixed to the glass of an entrance door. The door is much further along than the lobby itself, however. Hours for the leasing office have also been posted on the glass. The 22-story Washington Property Company-developed building will house 198 apartments, 1,500 square feet of retail space, and a four-level underground parking garage.

Bethesda construction update - Solaire 7607 Old Georgetown (Photos)

Absolute nightmare on Old Geo'twn with this project that has taken forever. Having that lane closed at almost the 355 intersection has been really rough especially when you have the far left lane only going left at Woodmont I think it is. I can't wait until that gets done to the point of clearing that right lane. But, the next corner soon will be blown up where the Old Geo'twn Grill is. So much for traveling easily thru there for years to come. And they want to close even more lanes for bikes that no one uses. Great!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost as if people who drive through the neighborhood take a back seat to people who actually live here. Shocking to JAC that he's not actually the center of the universe.

ReplyDeleteComment makes no sense at all. That stretch isn't really tough to get thru with the right lane being blocked for over two years? Again, what you've said here, invoking my handle, makes no sense.
Easy to snipe people but difficult to argue their weak positions.
DeleteI’ve never encountered any delays when walking through this area. Or any part of Bethesda.
