Robin Ficker endorses Donald Trump for President

Maryland U.S. Senate candidate Robin Ficker (R) has endorsed Donald Trump for President, the Boyds resident and attorney announced in a press release timed to coincide with Trump's second consecutive victory of the 2024 primary season. The endorsement isn't likely to help Ficker much in the general election, in a state where Trump has some of his lowest popularity numbers in the nation. But, barring former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan coming to his political senses, Ficker has a very good chance to be the GOP nominee in the race this November. He is the only declared Republican candidate in the race with statewide name recognition, as both a former elected member of the House of Delegates and a notorious Washington Bullets superfan seen on TV reports from coast to coast over the decades.

"It's time for us to coalesce behind the only Presidential Candidate capable of restoring logic to our government," Ficker said in a statement. "President Trump is the only candidate with a proven track record of historically low unemployment, safer communities, and lower energy prices. Together, President Trump and I will secure our Southern border. Together, President Trump and I will stop the flow of fentanyl across our border and onto our streets. President Trump and I will take swift and decisive action to protect our communities and secure our border.

"President Trump and I will bring the country into a new, prosperous economic age and help the United States become energy independent again, pursuing an ‘all-of-the-above’ approach to our energy sector. President Biden has failed in every one of these categories. The choice is clear. Reject Biden's policies in the ballot box this November and vote for Donald J. Trump!"

Lol. Wut. Maybe he misspelled "President Biden." Under Trump we saw historically high unemployment, a 30% increase in violent crime and murders (the worst spike in over a century), and massive declines in domestic oil production. Under Biden the unemployment rate has been sub-4% for 2 years straight, crime has declined dramatically, and domestic oil production has literally never been higher in the country's history. Anyone who cares about the topics that Ficker brings up should learn some basic facts before voting against their own interests.

Biden completely sucks at selling himself to the public. GDP growth, employment growth, wage growth, etc. have all been great. If Trump did half as well as this in the current high rate environment he'd be building monuments to himself and the public would view it as the strongest economy in a generation. Trump is a garbage human and was an embarrassing president, but Sleepy Joe could learn a thing or two from him about salesmanship.

7:58 thinks the economy is better today, border is secure, higher employment numbers that don't count those returning after the lockdown and those no longer looking, and the laptop is Russian disinformation.

Maybe you should study economics but that's a stretch because "by the numbers" that liberal talking heads espouse, like your hero Paul Krugman, the inflation numbers are low and we have a solid economy, (just omit the numbers for food, fuel, and durable goods like cars).

/Anyone who cares about topics that democrats bring up should learn some basic facts before voting against their own interests/

The left would be funny if they weren't in charge.

Exactly. My husband has been saying for years that Trump is a poor person's idea of a rich man, a dumb person's idea of a smart man, and a weak person's idea of a strong man.

Don't believe your lying eyes because it contradicts everything the MSM has programmed you to believe.

Literally the third line of Donald Trump's obituary (after Jan 6th and the Covid catastrophe) will be about sexually assaulting women. He openly bragged about doing it and was subsequently found liable for doing so. The fact someone of voting age can exist and be completely ignorant of widely-reported facts is scary.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Anonymous1:43 PM

@5:19 Because the E. Jean Carroll case was a civil case, Trump was found "liable" for sexually abusing and defaming Carroll (item #2 below), instead of "being convicted" of sexual abuse. A judge provided additional clarification on the jury's decision (item #1).

    (1) Judge clarifies: "Yes, Trump was found to have raped E. Jean Carroll"

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/07/19/trump-carroll-judge-rape/

" ... the conduct the jury effectively found Trump liable for — forced digital penetration — meets a more common definition of rape. He [the judge] cited definitions offered by the American Psychological Association and the Justice Department, which in 2012 expanded its definition of rape to include penetration “with any body part or object.”"

    (2) " ... the Manhattan jury of nine men and three women found the former president liable for sexually abusing and defaming Carroll and awarded Carroll $5 million in damages..."

This is the same Jean Carroll who named her cat after a venereal disease? The same one who with the backing of Ried Hoffman, lobbied to have the statues of limitations removed?

During the latest episode of this trial, Carroll admitted she wasn’t doing very well financially and needed to find a way to sell more books. The testimony appears to be the basis for the very first claim she ever made, in New York magazine’s The Cut, in the summer of 2019.

    https://twitter.com/RaheemKassam/status/1653530949827678208

    More from RJ Kassam:

Far from a compelling claim, the 80-year-old writer initially laid out the story that her supposed rape occurred either in 1994, before altering the day to be “in the fall of 1995 or the spring of 1996.” She couldn’t remember the specifics. What she did remember was that she was wearing a “Donna Karan coatdress and high heels but not a coat.” She later refused to produce said coat for DNA testing despite admitting to still owning it, describing it as “unworn and unlaundered since that evening.” It later came to light that the coatdress was not made in 1994 or 1995.

  29. 12:44 - Firstly, Trump will be the next POTUS I guarantee it. Secondly, Joe Biden is a dirty old man who has groped, sniffed and rubbed more women in his life than most. And there was credible evidence and a complaint by a woman whose name I forget right now that never saw the light of day. Shocker. Media surrogates took care of that. Sadly, they mostly all do it. Remember Clinton, the hero of the Dems? The first "black president"? He actually had sexual contact with a woman he was not married to, in the Oval Office. Remember JFK? He was the biggest lady hound of them all and one of the best looking cats in America. He cheated on his wife and young children hundreds of times and his wife and entire family knew about it. The SS secretly took him all over Washington for sexual liaisons. Not great but hardly shocking and certainly nothing knew. This is the strategy of the Dems that by getting a few of these cases to go their way and against Trump that it'll knock him out. They have nothing. That's great for the country? Joe Biden is an old fool whose never done anything. He looks, walks and acts like he's 99. He'll actually do zero campaigning. Huh? That's never, ever happened in our history that an incumbent will do no debating, no traveling, no campaigning at all. What a great platform that is. Disaster
    He's gonna get crushed.

1:43 What does it say about the court when the judge predisposed the defendant guilty of a crime he was never charged with. That and the lack of ANY evidence beyond he said she said along with the plaintiff's insane media interviews tells sane observers everything we need to know about those who believe what happened in this court was a representation of Justice.

    From John Lefevre tweet:

It's hard to find on Google, so here's what you need to know about E. Jean Carroll, most of which was deemed "inadmissible" by the judge:

    - She couldn't recall the date, month, season, or year the incident happened
    - She never told anyone about it, despite being publicly obsessed with her own sexuality
    - The dress she claims to have been wearing didn't exist at the time
    - Her description of the dressing room at Bergdorf Goodman was inaccurate, making her sequence of events impossible
    - Her lawsuit was bankrolled by Jeffrey Epstein pal and Democrat (and Nikki Haley) mega-donor Reid Hoffman
    - Democrats created a law (The Adult Survivors Act in 2022) to enable her lawsuit to proceed
    - Her accusation is the exact plotline of an episode of Law & Order (one of her "favorite shows")
    - Trump's Apprentice was also one of her favorite shows
    - She has a history of falsely accusing men of r*pe, including Les Moonves
    - She told Anderson Cooper, "most people think of r*pe as being sexy. Think of the fantasies."
    - She made a career promoting promiscuity, even writing glowingly of sexual assault and naming her cat Vagina

Looks like the kangaroo court in a kangaroo state.

    From ChatGPT:

    E. Jean Carroll, besides her accusations against Donald Trump, has also accused Les Moonves, the former CEO of CBS, of sexual assault. In her book “What Do We Need Men For? A Modest Proposal,” she detailed an incident involving Moonves. Carroll described that, during an interview for an Esquire profile in 1997, Moonves allegedly groped her in an elevator at the Hotel Nikko in Beverly Hills. She characterized his actions as aggressive, comparing him to an octopus due to his manner of touching her. Moonves has emphatically denied these allegations. These are the only notable public figures Carroll has accused of sexual misconduct other than Donald Trump.

Yes, E. Jean Carroll has also accused several other individuals of sexual misconduct, including a babysitter’s boyfriend, a dentist, a camp counselor, an unnamed college date, and an unnamed boss. These accusations are part of the various claims she has made about experiencing sexual assault or misconduct during her life. These allegations are mentioned in the context of her broader narrative and experiences as discussed in her book and public statements.

1:47 One has to believe a long list of coincidences along with Carroll's failure to remember details outside of the Law & Order episode which was verbatim. The judge predetermined a guilty verdict in his instructions to the jury. No reasonable person looking at the overhead view of everything that happened from Reid Hoffman's financial backing to get a single law enacted specific to this case not to mention Carroll's post trial media interviews that made her own lawyers visually uncomfortable.

It does prove that NY & DC have decided that politics trumps, (pun intended), justice.

@1:47 "The judge predetermined a guilty verdict in his instructions to the jury."

The instructions about Trump's guilty verdict from the judge applied only to the second defamation suit that wrapped up last week. It wasn't predetermined, it was based on the first jury having found Trump guilty of sexually abusing Carroll in the first trial. The jury in the second trial was limited to consider ongoing defamation by Trump. They had no role in re-assessing the sexual abuse finding in the first trial.

Trial 1: sexual abuse and defamation
    Trial 2: defamation only
