Allegedly, a restaurant employee struck victim in the head with a pan, according to the dispatch call.

  5. We all need to seriously consider carrying non lethal firearm at a minimum. Crazy ass area we live in. It doesn't have to be this way. Deep Blue state, bluest county in America. Police chief retiring says nothing.

We need to get tough on crime with harsher sentences. 2 strikes and you're OUT.

8:36: How did you hear of this? Also where is this Five Guys?

My colleagues were shocked when I told them about the goings on in Behesda lately. If you aren't reading local blogs, you just don't hear.

From a Twitter/X post by a Fox5 on-air employee's personal tweet. The FiveGuys is on Bethesda Ave practically across the street from the Apple store.

Is there some place we can hear about crime investigation progress or arrests? Do we just have to assume the perps enjoy impunity? Sure looks that way.

The leaders of our lofty community
Are at odds with and have disunity
So the thugs seize the opportunity
To assault and steal with impunity.
