Many have been wondering what will happen to everything that's still locked inside the shuttered Foxtrot Market at 7262 Woodmont Avenue at Bethesda Row. It turns out it will all be liquidated later this month by creditor J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. A law firm representing the bank will hold an online foreclosure sale of "substantially all of the assets of Foxtrot Ventures Incorporated," and the assets of several related Foxtrot shell companies, at 10:00 AM on May 10, 2024.
The assets will include "inventory, intellectual property, accounts, chattel paper, documents, furniture, fixtures & equipment, general intangible and goods," according to an announcement of the sale. Law firm DLA Piper LLP will hold the sale online usiing a Microsoft Teams video conference.
7 or 11?
ReplyDeleteIs there additional confirmation on the liquidation date? I have still not seen an official filing for chapter 7.
ReplyDelete1:19: The announcement did not mention a bankruptcy filing. Only that Foxtrot's creditor, JP Morgan Chase Bank, is having their law firm hold this sale of their assets.
ReplyDeletePlease post the UCC sale announcement
DeleteThis is the problem with streetery's if that's even an actual word. I had zero idea, as others here have mentioned, that Foxtrot was even in Bethesda. At least they've opened up a travel lane there in Bethesda Row but with the tables, pedestrian space, etc, it's much harder for businesses to get noticed. This is a larger problem in this case as all Foxtrot locations across the nation are closing but point made.
ReplyDelete@9:57 - Put down the joint.
ReplyDeleteSome of their Locations, like the one in Rosslyn, were in Expensive Newer Apartment Buildings. I’m sure that added to the exorbitant set-up costs !
ReplyDeleteNo way to make a small cafe and gourmet grocery store business like that profitable unless you have a Full Service Restaurant, which they did not………….
Any secondary source to support the claim? OP any documentation you can post to support? Haven't seen any other source confirm this.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have a link to the auction page?
