I've eaten at their Olney location. Quite good. I hope they can survive Bethesda rents.
ReplyDeleteGreat addition to this area. Curious to know whether they will have tables to enjoy a meal or if it'll just be to go. Assume some seating. BCC kids may swarm at least at first so lunch may indeed be busy. But again, looks to be a plus for that block and the folks behind it have serious deli chops. Void possibly filled by Booyemonger leaving. Booey did rise from the dead on Jennifer Street though. The only one left.
ReplyDeleteKASS, gotta give it to you here, you actually stated your own opinion and didnt speak for all of Bethesda. And it was a thoughtful, hopeful, humble, positive post. Brings a tear to my eye, change is possible.
DeleteNo prices and the word 'Lunch' is misspelled, just sayin'...
ReplyDeleteNice to see a new business along this stretch of EW Highway, given the departure/closing of the Christian Science Reading Room, Pita place, Starbucks, BooeyMonger, etc.
ReplyDelete@10:44, Good catch! I hope their team notices it :-)
ReplyDeleteTypos on especially big printed signage drive me KrAzy. How do they get past proofreaders and printers? I used to take pics locally. One 'egregious' one is Le Chat Noir in Tenleytown, 'Restaurant' on their door is misspelled! Those French have a different world for everything "--Steve Martin
ReplyDeleteHey all, I called the store about the typo -- they seemed to appreciate the heads up. They're anticipating opening in late October.
ReplyDeleteJay Leno had a field day with advertising typos. At least Le Chat Noir didn't misspell "chat."
