A building on Cordell Avenue is switching colors. Painters began working on the exterior of 4865 Cordell yesterday. The building, formerly home to Grapeseed and Lucy, has been leased by The Cordell, "a unique event space." The Cordell is expected to open before the year is out.

Fresh paint at The Cordell in Bethesda
A building on Cordell Avenue is switching colors. Painters began working on the exterior of 4865 Cordell yesterday. The building, formerly home to Grapeseed and Lucy, has been leased by The Cordell, "a unique event space." The Cordell is expected to open before the year is out.
It'll be curious to see how many people can fit into this space for an event. It absolutely could be a great alternative to nearby venues for Christmas parties, weddings, etc. The building has good curb appeal and properly decked out inside, this could be a great addition. I like that it will no longer be a restaurant most of which are crappy anyway. Can't wait to see this open.
ReplyDeleteI wish those overhead wires were put underground. They're such an eyesore.
