Prato is currently under construction at 7278 Woodmont Avenue at Bethesda Row. The Italian restaurant is replacing Matchbox on that prominent corner at the Federal Realty development. First, they've had to gut the interior of the previous establishment. The expected opening timetable has been revised from fall to "late fall." That gives them through December 20, so it's theoretically still doable.
Let's hope this one doesn't also close before it opens.
ReplyDeleteTrash box was okay and offered pretty good variety. Their pizza actually wasn't bad. But this place definitely looks like it could be a step above.
ReplyDeleteJAC's comments get more and more deluded as the months pass... hmm, wonder who else that sounds like. Can't even stop himself from being insulting while complimenting. Touch grass, and relax JAC, you'll live longer.
ReplyDeleteYour comment doesn't make much sense. The former tenant is ok but this seems like it'll be a cut above. Not sure what's wrong with saying that. And I'm so relaxed that I'm zen like. Thanks though!
DeleteYou called them Trash box. Or you so delusional you can't remember your own words?
