Two cars reported stolen in as many hours from apartments near Montgomery Mall in Bethesda



Montgomery County police are investigating the reported thefts of two vehicles from apartment buildings near Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. Officers first responded to an apartment building in the 7400 block of Westlake Terrace at 6:20 AM yesterday, June 21, 2023. The second vehicle was reported stolen from a residential parking lot in the 7400 block of Lakeview Drive exactly two hours later, at 8:20 AM. There is no word yet as to whether the thieves are numerologists.

    Maybe they read there's a crime committed in MC every two hours and didn't know they could do another one early.

    This item is actually "news you can use" (if you're thinking of parking a car in that area), as opposed to the more nebulous "assault" reports.
    Why's it being "rewarded" with people's attempts at cracking wise?

    Probably some Elrich voters. They'll still vote for Elrich again anyway.
