Lights and TV sets were on inside some of the homes Thursday evening. Street signs have also been installed for the latest street to be named within the development, an alley called Goshawk Alley - so we now have bird-themed Goshawk, jewel-themed Topaz Lane, and not-sure-what-the-theme-is Zenith Overlook. Construction continues on the remaining unfinished homes in the development, and on a second Brownstones site nearby at River Road and Brookside Drive. The developer is EYA of Bethesda.

How did these street names ever get approved? Every other new neighborhood gets streets named after significant people in the community. Westbard gets "Zenith Overlook" instead.
I looks like a scene from a Sherlock Holmes novel.

If I were a new resident I would IMMEDIATELY organize with others to petition for a street name change, before sending out the “We’ve Moved!” card! 😆
I believe the are private roads. The developer can name them anything that isn’t confusing to the police and fire departments.
This is like the frog sitting in the pot of slow- boiling water. You really need to get away from this to see how other people get to live before you commit your precious existence to this much ugly. I'm sure even the flocks of little brown sparrows that used to live in the hedges along Westbard have found a penitentiary with more natural beauty than this. Indeed, these buyers are being cooked.
In 20 years it'll look like West Baltimore row houses of The Wire yore.

These are great investments as the values will only increase. Several units have already been rented for $7k per month and that is for the smallest model. There is another larger unit up for rent at $12k.
Hate all you want on the design, street names, etc., the people who purchased will make a healthy profit.
4:53: I agree 100%. There is nothing that could make housing prices fall in 20816, or really anywhere in Montgomery County. Remember, people were overpaying massively in Spring Valley even with the threat of chemical munitions in the soil! These homes are a great investment, indeed, and that's why many in line overnight for the release of these were hired placeholders for Blackrock-type operations.
