The temporary sign over the door at the under-construction Barrel & Crow at 4869 Cordell Avenue has been replaced with a permanent one. Stay tuned for an opening date.
3:30: I believe 11:14 was responding to the 10:30 commenter who is poorly informed about hyperlocal news. That individual is criticizing me for the same type of neighborhood reporting that Prince of Petworth has been praised to the high heavens for. Hypocrisy, as usual.
6:38: Just do a Google search for "Prince of Petworth", and click on the fawning articles and references in the Washington Post, Washingtonian, etc. for proof.
Folks are just pointing out that hyperlocal sites report on new signs, placards and other stuff in the neighborhood. PoP is another example. It's good to give examples and supporting facts :)
Barrel & Crate.
ReplyDeletetoday in sign news
ReplyDeleteWhy is 10:30 so sour on hyper local Bethesda news? It's no different than Prince of Petworth reporting on a new sign or placard.
Delete11:14 AM seems to think that Dyer and PoP are the only local bloggers.

DeletePoP and Dyer both cover their communities well.
ReplyDeleteI don't see any reason to denigrate the hyper local coverage that Dyer provides us.
I don't recall PoP "being praised to the high heavens".
ReplyDeleteTry more local, less hype.

ReplyDeleteDaffy Duck-level resentment helps no one.

Delete5:58: You're that same troll - you always refer to fictional "resentment." It's a projection of your own resentment of me.
ReplyDeleteWhere's your "effort"? What's your output, other than troll comments on somebody else's significant effort?
