In late summer, Luke's will expand its space out to Elm Street, where there used to be an M&T Bank ATM if you recall. This will not only increase the indoor seating area, but will also raise the visibility of Luke's Lobster, to those passing on Elm Street.
The project will take a few weeks to complete, a spokesperson for Luke's Lobster said yesterday.
Here is the space where Luke's Lobster will expand; there used to be an ATM here |
Expanding into this space will increase visibility of the restaurant on Elm Street |
Oh that's awesome. Both on the visibility and seating.
ReplyDeleteNow if only they could add some more nightlife other than Redwood! That place takes up way too much space. Nothing against it. But some variety would be nice.
They should get rid of the Creuset store and put a sports bar there.
ReplyDeleteWould love a sports bar in Bethesda row!
ReplyDeleteA useful business taking over a bank. That's good news, regardless of whatever crappy blog announces it.
ReplyDeleteTap Room doesn't satisfy the sports bar type of need? Or do you literally want a Buffalo Wild Wings?
ReplyDeleteBethesda Lane is so pretty though. I want one there. :)
DeleteI literally want a Buffalo Wild Wings. A Greene Turtle would work too.
DeleteLol. Just generally saying a casual bar would help to activate Bethesda Lane more at night.
DeleteRi Ra pub was a big loss to the area
ReplyDeleteYeah and that's saying a lot, since Ri Ra kinda wasn't great as it were and now there is less.
DeleteYou have Barking Dog up the street, Tap Room is right there, Mussel Bar.
ReplyDeleteYet it's still no very vibrant at night. What can be done?
