Bethesda Art Metal Works recovering from car smashing into its storefront (Photo)

Bethesda Art Metal Works is recovering from a bizarre but increasingly common incident - a car having plowed into the front of its Bethesda Avenue space - on August 4. Inventory is back in the store, and the glass and brickwork have been replaced. 

The shop provides service, restoration and repair for everything from cookware and lawn furniture, to candlesticks and fireplace screens.

      7:18: You can't miss something that didn't happen until now. If you think the storefront could be repaired from an accident BEFORE THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED, I suggest you seek professional help.

    The car didn't magically turn itself on, and drive to Bethesda Avenue, and crash into the store.

    If Dyer wants us to "support our local businesses", then how come he never takes pictures of them during their normal operating hours when they have both staff and customers?

    7:51AM You're right. On the Steamers story, for example, Dyer should have photoshopped bar patrons into the photos. Steamers is closed, but I want photos with people at the bar!

    On the 4500 East West hair salon story, he should have photoshopped a guy getting a hair cut into the image.

    AND we need more Reamer glamour shots.

    If you don't like Dyer, stop visiting his site. He's trying to provide a useful service for his readers, and many of us are very appreciative of his blog. You don't like every article in the newspaper, right? Do you waste your time posting silly and inane comments to the newspaper? I didn't think so.

    Cut the guy a break and move on in your life.

    7:25: You're smoking something again. The repairs to the storefront just happened, and here is a timely report. The only person who would be keeping obsessive track of what was reported that nobody cares about by BM would either be from the mag staff, or in a straitjacket. No normal person cares what you are talking about.
