Banner posted at Tapp'd Bethesda
A banner was put up outside the future home of Tapp'd Bethesda, a taproom and restaurant opening soon at the former home of Union Jack's on St. Elmo Avenue. As I reported a few weeks ago, Tapp'd is from the same ownership as Union Jack's.
So, I guess this is a wash on the great Hans Riemer closure list? Sounds like just the owners changing concepts to something better fitting with Bethesda's changing demographics?
I think the revamp is to get rid of the younger twenty something trash that hung out there. I was told that they are trying to attract a thirty something crowd and hoping that it brings in less riffraff.
