Lotus drivers in Bethesda may have to head over state lines to Pennsylvania to get their cars serviced by an official dealer. EuroMotorcars Lotus has closed, and the 4937 Bethesda Avenue showroom has been cleared out.
The dealership's website has disappeared, and it no longer appears on the official Lotus dealer list.
This brand is doomed.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. But with the modification that the brand has been doomed for a while now.
DeleteAs a Lotus owner, this is incredibly annoying as I don't want to drive to PA. Luckily I got all my recall work done while they were still in business.
ReplyDeleteIf there are other Lotus owners reading this, my go-to guy is Albert who owns Milex in Frederick. He used to be the Lotus mechanic when Criswell had the franchise, so he knows the cars well, and his rates are very reasonable.
Watch out dyer will delete this for advertising and say it's against his comment policy.
DeleteLotus always made a nice sensible small car. We were going to get the twins a pair of Elises (each in their favorite color) for their 16th birthday, but I don't think we'll be doing that if we cannot have the cars sourced and cared for locally.
ReplyDeleteWith Lotus now moribund, could we interest you in this nice Dutch model?
ReplyDeleteFun for the whole family!

Dyer your hands are much smaller than Trumps or Rubio so I don't think you remotely qualify to own this car.
ReplyDelete8:55 - when were you holding Dyer's hand?
ReplyDeleteSo now where can we buy a lotus car?
