Hampden Row, the 55-unit luxury building developed by Toll Brothers City Living on Hampden Lane at Arlington Road, is about midway through construction. The scaffolding on the corner section of the building almost makes it look like a separate structure.
The finished product will include a 24-hour attended lobby, resident lounge, a rooftop terrace and fitness center, garage parking and bike storage facilities. Units will boast Gaggenau, Thermador, and Bosch appliances, and Grohe and Kohler fixtures.
Hampden Row is expected to compete in the ultra-luxury segment, which includes The Lauren and The Darcy, and others just getting started like Stonehall Bethesda and Cheval Bethesda.
The moribundness of Bethesda is too much to bear.
ReplyDeleteIs Stonehall really ultra luxury? Bad location for it on Battery. Price point doesn't suggest it either.
ReplyDeleteOh no more cars and school crowding!
ReplyDelete12:09 AM - Battery Lane is better than Hampden Lane was before all the new construction started. Hampden Lane was ghetto just a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteIts proximity to Bethesda Row though brings up its value. Although right now what is it, Lauren ultra luxury, affordable housing, homeless shelter, Hampden Row luxury. Funny mix.
