Bethesda construction update: Tara Thai (Photos)
Tara Thai looks close to finished at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. The restaurant, which moved here from Bethesda Row, will have outdoor patio dining available. Signage has been installed with the familiar fonts and logos.
Hey kids do you want to inhale parking lot fumes with your lunch? Maybe we will see some parking garage road rage or hear some never ending construction noise.
7:36, I can guarantee you won't see Dyer out there. 1) Vampires hate sunlight, 2) his all black outfits would ignite themselves, and 3) Dyer has a FOTB Fear of Turning Black.
You have to see it to believe it. The outdoor dining decks are teeny tiny. Only two of them. About 8' square each. I can't believe the dining out there will be comfortable or inviting at all.
It's a nice trend for these malls to add outdoor facades and spaces. Makes it much more inviting than the big blocks of old.
ReplyDeleteA view of the parking deck. How inviting.
ReplyDeleteMoMall is where Bethesda Row's and White Flint's cast-offs go to die.
Tara Thai is awful. Its day has come and gone. The McD's of Thai food.
ReplyDeleteTara Thai will be popular wherever they go. Sad to see Bethesda losing them.

ReplyDeleteThat outdoor deck will be a little slice of hell during the summer. The sun baking the concrete all day.
