Gold Leaf Bakery will open in the ground floor of the Bainbridge Bethesda apartments next Saturday, May 7. The bakery is the first tenant of the building's retail space. Gold Leaf's owner previously operated the Just Chocolate Palace in Montgomery Village.

This is very interesting. I am in the market for a new high-end cake vendor for some of the galas I organize.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping it won't be high end. Would be nice to have a cheaper bakery around.
Delete@6:02 I think the Entermann's aisle at Safeway already caters to that line of business. This is Bethesda, our tastes are a little more on the refined side.
ReplyDeleteLol poppy. I'm saddened the entenmann's outlet closed. :(
ReplyDelete8:00AM I miss it too. The old Entenmann's is now Duck Donuts.
ReplyDeleteOpposite extremes. Super cheap and common folk and now super expensive hipster pastries. My wallet hurts as I don't care about brand name.

ReplyDeleteThose three bare metal chairs are so amazing. I won't be able to sleep tonight.
