Flag flying again over downtown Bethesda garage (Video+photos)
Old Glory is waving in the breeze once again atop the Auburn-Del Ray Parking Garage 36 in downtown Bethesda. A couple of days ago, a tattered U.S. flag there was caught by a thread and unable to properly fly. The flag has now been replaced.
You're a grand old flag, You're a high flying flag And forever in peace may you wave. You're the emblem of The land I love. The home of the free and the brave.
I reported it to 311 and a day later it was fixed, just like potholes and graffiti I've reported in the past. It's truly amazing how responsive our local government is. I've never lived anywhere else that's even remotely close.

ReplyDeleteIt's great that Robert's reporting brought this to everyone's attention! They fixed it the next day.
ReplyDeleteIf Dyer had called 311 himself, as soon as he saw it, it would have been fixed one day sooner.
