American Tap Room is a PokéStop at Bethesda Row (Photos)

American Tap Room wants to be a PokéStop at Bethesda Row. They're offering 15% off if you post your catch with their location - the restaurant will be dropping Pokémon lures between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, and from 9:00 to 11:00 PM.

I also have to give a shout-out to whoever the talented artist is who hand-draws these announcements on the sandwich board outside the restaurant. This should only increase the Pokémon Go fever in downtown Bethesda.

Isn't this a children's game? Why would they want to go to American Taproom?

Yeah I don't get the mix of children and childlike adults playing this game and going into a bar?

Went to RIO in Gaithersburg last night for dinner. It was amazing to see dozens (if not hundreds) of losers walking around the lake staring at their phones like f'n zombies. It was like the living dead.

Not only children play Pokemon Go. The original games came out 20 years ago so the nostalgic factor brings in a lot of young adults.

    Apparently:
Loser = someone enjoying an activity (with limited negative impact on those around them) which does not appeal to me personally

Yeah, that is a good point. But hey the "cool kids" will always make fun of the "losers" no matter how it's spun or who grows up to be what.

6:34 PM Mr. Leventhal, is that you? Sounds like his kind of coarse language.

As inappropriate as 6:34 is, 8:49 is just as bad.

3:21 AM - Is that you Mr Riemer chiming in? Actually, there's a bit of compassion and level-headedness, maybe it's Elrich.
