Pet resort opening in Pike District of N. Bethesda (Photos)

Dr. Boyd's Veterinary Resort is opening its first location outside of California here in the Pike District of North Bethesda, at 11503 Rockville Pike. This was formerly a Staples store. Dr. Boyd's offers veterinary hospital services, dog and cat boarding, doggie daycare and training, and a pet spa with grooming services.

Is Staples closing the county council's fault too?

  2. 10:27 AM If the Council spent time and money on an Office Supply Task Force, then I would partially blame them.

It's the Council's fault that all these animals are getting sick and being left behind by their owners.

Yo Robert, turn down the saturation in your camera! Your images make this look like it is radio active day-glow orange. A bit of enhancement looks good, but you are over the edge my friend!

    1. 12:44: Yo! LOL. I know you realize your side is stuck with lame, uninspired photography on the small and slightly-failing magazine, as with the deceased and defeated Bethesda Now. Just another reason people prefer this site, is the better photography.

Hmmm nothing else to comment on, so how about criticizing the photos for being too colorful! LOL. Grasping at straws...

1:45 PM, you have to admit, those are terrible contrasts.

Thanks to Councilman Reimer for his work on the Bethesda Downtown Sector Plan. Good to see work happening, vice collective complaining about everything.

    1. The Bethesda plan sucks - bad for business, and for residents. Only Helpless Hans and his hand-picked Planning Board could screw this up that bad. Fix it in 2019 with a new Council.

I'll go out on a limb here and assume you are referring to Councilman Reimer when you say Helpless Hans? If that's the case, I'm not sure of the veracity of your claim (i.e. childlike name calling), as Hans single-handedly destroyed you in the last election...nearly doubled your votes. Maybe your immaturity is why he's on the council and you're a man-child? Excuses, excuses.

Marc Elrich, George Leventhal and Nancy Navarro also defeated Robert Dyer twice, by even larger margins than Hans Riemer. So why doesn't Dyer have the same obsessive hatred for them as he does for Riemer?

Hi Robert, can you share what you liked and disliked about the plan and what you would have done differently?

  10. 3:13: No, he's on the Council because the cemetery precincts came in strong for him in 2010 and 2014. Let's find out how many of those "doubled" votes were actually illegal.

4:36: I think you mean Nancy Floreen, not Navarro. They are term-limited out of office next year.

    5:11: I did: http://robertdyer.blogspot.com/2017/05/bethesda-downtown-plan-is-worst-of-both.html

While Dyer is reporting on pet hotels and reviewing hamburgers, the Councilman is doing the real business of the county. Keep at it, Hans.
