Mayflower Chinese Food in Bethesda updates hours
Mayflower Chinese Food will now be closed every Monday. The restaurant's owners said the change is simply due to their wish to spend more time with family and friends. Mayflower is located at 7925 Norfolk Avenue, next to Duck Duck Goose.
4:10 - Good catch. This is why reporting on County politics, while at the same time being a candidate for County Council, is such a huge conflict of interest.
4:10: Wrong - Olazzo and I were actually on the same side in the liquor and term limits debates. DDG is on the corner at a cross street, which is why I referred to it. Only a psycho would even be analyzing such things, anyway. Get a life.
4:20: I am not currently a candidate for County Council.
6:30: It's very useful, hyperlocal neighborhood news, which I pioneered in Montgomery County. Hyperlocal news is indeed journalism, even if word hasn't reached you at Jurassic Park yet.
Has North China closed? They've been open 20+ years. I drove by and didn't see the signs plus I tried calling and the lines didn't work. It used to be a huge restaurant back in the day. Do you know?
Freelancers writing out of their bedrooms in Frederick, Anne Arundel County, PG County, etc. probably don't care about Bethesda restaurant news. Those of who live in the neighborhood do.
"Freelancers writing out of their bedrooms in Frederick, Anne Arundel County, PG County, etc."
Westbard is not "Bethesda", and if Robert Dyer actually had to pay all of his living expenses, he would be living in a small trailer in a remote part of West Virginia.
It's a page which you currently maintain with new horse**** material. I reckon the election commission would disagree with you. It's probably a moot point as you have a whopping 200 followers. I see why you lost by 80,000 votes.
4:43: What gives you the idea I have no income? Meanwhile, we know these other reporters have a very low income, yet are somehow able to live in Montgomery County. Is an angel investor paying their living expenses?
4:19: So is the crooked County Council. It's what happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object.
5:57: The "election commission" has no authority over someone who is not an active candidate for office. I smartly continue to publish the same political commentary I post on every other platform to keep my supporters engaged. I suspect the cemetery precincts coming in strong for Hans Riemer have maybe a bit more to do with the margin of victory than Facebook's suppression of my campaign page posts in newsfeeds. "Democrat pages good, Republican pages bad."
"Four legs good, two legs bad." - Mark "Globalist Not Buying White House" Zuckerberg
6:55: My income isn't in dispute. You're supposed to be asking the other reporters who are making 3x000 a year, yet are mysteriously able to afford Montgomery County cost of living, how they're doing it. Angel investors?
You can't take it public because you're making things up and therefore have no evidence, and you'll expose your real identity and enable prosecution for your actual harassment of me.
Robert, I'm a local woman who has done nothing but challenge you on your opinions. You and yours have and continue to vilify me, mercilessly, without reason.
I'm telling you I'm a real person, a local woman and not your nemesis. I'm asking you to stop your assaults on me and delete the posts when others join in.
7:41: People can search this website for the rest of time, and they will never find an "assault" against you on here by me. It's total fiction. Stop lying.
7:51: How is it in dispute? What evidence do you have that I have no income? In contrast, we know the other local reporters have low incomes, yet are somehow able to afford the cost of living in Montgomery County. Strangely, you aren't demanding they explain that to you.
8:28: There are no "insults" from me. You're making things up. Why do you keep visiting and commenting on the site if you hate it so much?
The reality is you are engaging in some kind of a "cyberattack" by posting a barrage of false and defamatory statements on my website. Cease and desist, or you will be sued for defamation.
They don't need to search, they read it every frickin day.
You attacking me, attacking others, then your minions attacking me. Spoofing me. Calling me a liar.
Here's one: Blogger Robert Dyer said... 11:38: Shows how little you know about Bethesda. The only thing you'll be watching is my brass knuckles hitting your face, vermin. 12:23 PM http://robertdyer.blogspot.com/2017/06/james-pontes-custom-tailoring-clearing.html
8:54: This is a great example of the false statements I'm talking about. I was responding to the troll who said he told me to report on that business closure so that he could watch me from his apartment window - same guy who has threatened me and my family.
Now, unless you are admitting you are that troll, it is complete fiction to claim that that response was directed at you. Anyone can read the comment section there and verify this is the case.
Yeah, I know. I looked it up with Maryland the first time he mentioned it. Something I would do for my business clients before suggesting it to them. Force of habit. Just like pulling up Zillow photos of client's rental properties for their files. It's second nature, done before I think about it.
I'm not ethically challenged, so I'll leave that trademark registering to others. Maybe even Dyer. (He should if he's serious about using SNN) Seems I still remember how to be shill-y. huh. go figure.
What's with Dyer and his sockpuppets/sheep and his/their obsession with how much these people do or don't make and how they can afford to live in MoCo?

ReplyDeleteWhy no mention of Olazzo, on the other side?

Just like Tastee doesn't have a deal with Marriott. Gotcha.
DeleteIt's useless information, really. Most likely a website, sign, or word of mouth will provide this information. This isn't journalism.

ReplyDeleteWestbard is not "Bethesda", and if Robert Dyer actually had to pay all of his living expenses, he would be living in a small trailer in a remote part of West Virginia.
10:11: I am paying my living expenses - the big question is, how are the other local reporters paying theirs with salaries of $3x,000 a year?
ReplyDeleteOnly a mentally ill man thinks "Westbard" isn't in Bethesda.
9:08: Horse****. That is a page from 2014.

DeleteOh please, Dyer. You're always campaigning. The veil is see-through, my friend.
ReplyDeleteHow are you paying your living expenses with no salary?
ReplyDelete^^^^The same question you're asking others. Only fair to ask you too.

Ah now it makes sense. If Dyer wins county council he gets a paycheck. One that he was blasting for being too high before too.
ReplyDeleteAlways amazes me how obsessed "Anonymous" is with Robert Dyer :)
ReplyDelete"You're obsessed with Robert Dyer!" responds #UnsignedDyer 1 minute later.
DeleteFake "Ronald" at 6:09am, please stop embarrassing me by shilling for Dyer using my name!

ReplyDeleteCare to translate that pile of Argle-Bargle for your readers?
Let's try again. You tangented without delivering an answer.

ReplyDelete"Let's try again! Let's try again!"
Why do you always deflect to other journalists? Can't answer anything about yourself ever without being up others. Like a child.
DeleteWhy are other local journalists and publishers so secretive about their revenue and salaries, yet "Anonymous" is obsessed with Dyer's?
ReplyDeleteWe know nothing about other local writers. Dyer has a complete "About us" page.
Dyer is active on multiple social platforms, meanwhile other local writers use bad public art as their social photo.
This is a bunch of malarkey.
Why? Why are you doing this? Have you no shame? Have you no conscience?
ReplyDeleteDo you want me to take this public, Robert Dyer? If you don't stop lying about me, I'll go public with the truth about you.
Anna

"My income isn't in dispute."
ReplyDeleteOf course it is. If it wasn't, we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
What 7:51 said.
Delete7:51am you know & I know that you don't walk up to someone you don't know and expect them to give their salary and income.
DeleteOther than the unpaid internships (confirmed by Glassdoor), we don't know the income of other writers or revenues of other local sites.
I'm a major league troll.
ReplyDelete8:10AM: Why does it matter so much to what they make?
ReplyDelete8:18am How much do you make? Please sign your name as well :)

You keep commenting about Reimer and the council and planning department which you hate so much, don't you?
DeleteThere is no evidence that Robert Dyer has any (earned) income other than those two ads totalling $50.
ReplyDeleteDyer has claimed repeatedly that he has a life but has never provided any evidence in support of this.
8:36: How many people besides yourself do you have "evidence" of their income, unless they voluntarily tell you?
ReplyDeleteThey don't need to search, they read it every frickin day.

Doesn't matter why you said it, you still said it. Same applies to Trump.
DeleteThe original comment @ 11:38 is deleted. So, no they can't.
ReplyDeleteDyer isn't a public company. Private companies don't have to report anything.
ReplyDeleteWe've had plenty of local sites crash & burn that the owners claimed were doing well.
Isn't BM a private company too? So how is Dyer making up numbers not defamatory?
DeleteDyer falsely claimed that Bethesda Now went bankrupt. That's defamation.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Dyer defamatory comments are deleted. So dyer....

ReplyDeleteSad thing is the unpaid interns from the Magazine posting personal attacks here won't be paid a cent for their trolling :(

Why do you care about how much interns make?
