A must-read for Montgomery County Council staffers
Just came across this USA Today story that may offer some very helpful advice for staffers working for the Montgomery County Council. You'll have enough time to close the window before your boss comes in, because it takes them a while to find the doorknob.
8:42: Sorry punk, there are thousands of pieces like this against Trump or Hillary on many a website in Google News. They're screaming past in my Twitter feed every few seconds. Snarky political posts are most definitely allowed in Google News.
I'm surprised you can even read the USA Today articles and understand it, Dyer. I think their articles tend to be written at a fifth grade reading level, which seems a bit too high for you.
Question at 2018 Montgomery County Council candidates debate:
"So, Mr. Dyer, what have you actually done during the 46 years that you've been alive, that would make Montgomery County residents want you to represent them on the Council?"
"Narcissistic Decompensation refers to the inability to maintain defense mechanisms in response to stress, resulting in personality disturbance or psychological imbalance. Some who suffer from narcissistic personality disorder may decompensate into persecutory delusions to defend against a troubling reality."
5:20: I do, but the earlier years of USA Today in particular, with the very concise and to-the-point articles. That's what I try to do here, whenever possible, rather than the bloated filler you find on so many publications these days.
10:48: I hope they ask that question, because I would hit it out of the park.
On the topic of surviving "Morons" at work and in life, a great read is the "No A----hole Rule" by Robert I. Sutton at Stanford Graduate School of business.

While I don't agree with Dyer on many topics, I respect his right to say them and to cover news that other outlets do not. I just wonder why his trolls give so much time and attention to his blog. I don't understand how Robert Dyer expects to accomplish anything on the Council, if he is ever elected, if he's going to completely burn his bridges with everyone there, and elsewhere in the County government. There is no such thing as "a majority of one".
He has zero chances of ever being elected. What planet are you living in that you think this is even the most remote of possibilities. Just like Reimer made him his bitch boy, someone else will too.
9:09 Agree that "majority of one" concept is ineffective, but he isn't always blasting the entire group, and disagrees on some things but not all re moco council's actions.
All this hate is because Dyer is not jewish. In Bethesds or Potomac, you have to be jewish to be respected. I grew up with these peopke too in Bethesda and know the reality of it. Dyer knows it too. They do have an unhealthy infatuation with Dyer though.
And nonsense like this post is why no one can take Dyer seriously as a "journalist." This blog exists primarily to attack the County government (and commenters questioning any of his opinions), actual news reporting is secondary.
This is why you aren't on google news old sport.
