Just came across this USA Today story that may offer some very helpful advice for staffers working for the Montgomery County Council. You'll have enough time to close the window before your boss comes in, because it takes them a while to find the doorknob.
#ThrowTheBumsOut #LockThemUp
This is why you aren't on google news old sport.
ReplyDeleteI concur. That was definitely any necessary and terribly bad personal slam for a news site.
Delete8:42: Sorry punk, there are thousands of pieces like this against Trump or Hillary on many a website in Google News. They're screaming past in my Twitter feed every few seconds. Snarky political posts are most definitely allowed in Google News.
ReplyDeleteTwitter is not Google News, Birdbrain.
ReplyDeletewhich twitter feed? you have more online personalities than Sybil
ReplyDeleteHow many employees have you had, Robert? How would they rate your management skills?
ReplyDeleteas someone who has spent a lot of quality time with Dyer I'd say 0/100
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm wondering if Robert has ever had a boss.

ReplyDeleteOuch. Tyson’s Corner gets no love from Nova.
I'm surprised you can even read the USA Today articles and understand it, Dyer. I think their articles tend to be written at a fifth grade reading level, which seems a bit too high for you.
ReplyDeleteQuestion at 2018 Montgomery County Council candidates debate:
ReplyDelete"So, Mr. Dyer, what have you actually done during the 46 years that you've been alive, that would make Montgomery County residents want you to represent them on the Council?"
"Narcissistic Decompensation refers to the inability to maintain defense mechanisms in response to stress, resulting in personality disturbance or psychological imbalance. Some who suffer from narcissistic personality disorder may decompensate into persecutory delusions to defend against a troubling reality."
ReplyDeleteRobert Dyer hates the "liberal mainstream print media" but he seems to have a soft spot for USA Today.
ReplyDelete5:20: I do, but the earlier years of USA Today in particular, with the very concise and to-the-point articles. That's what I try to do here, whenever possible, rather than the bloated filler you find on so many publications these days.
ReplyDelete10:48: I hope they ask that question, because I would hit it out of the park.
So what have you actually done during the 46 years you've been alive? No need to wait till next year to answer.
ReplyDeleteOn the topic of surviving "Morons" at work and in life, a great read is the "No A----hole Rule" by Robert I. Sutton at Stanford Graduate School of business.
ReplyDeleteDyer is triggering the troll big time.
ReplyDelete"Cav_Grad" on September 1, 2017 @ 4:01 PM: "MoCo enjoys Mr. Dyer's brand of enterprising journalism. He is covering areas that were news deserts."
ReplyDelete8:20 Indeed the troll/s are quite twitchy lately, wonder why? Huh. I wrote the comment @8:19 and it is a serious comment. While I don't agree with Dyer on many topics, I respect his right to say them and to cover news that other outlets do not. I just wonder why his trolls give so much time and attention to his blog. Interesting.
ReplyDelete9:05?for the same reason he gives so much time and attention to the county. Belief in fixing something bad.
DeleteI don't understand how Robert Dyer expects to accomplish anything on the Council, if he is ever elected, if he's going to completely burn his bridges with everyone there, and elsewhere in the County government. There is no such thing as "a majority of one".
ReplyDeleteHe has zero chances of ever being elected. What planet are you living in that you think this is even the most remote of possibilities. Just like Reimer made him his bitch boy, someone else will too.
Delete9:09 Agree that "majority of one" concept is ineffective, but he isn't always blasting the entire group, and disagrees on some things but not all re moco council's actions.
ReplyDelete2:53 - 9:09 here. LOL, I didn't say it would ever happen. Just trying to make some sense of his thought processes.
ReplyDelete9:13 PM - "He isn't always blasting the entire group, and disagrees on some things but not all re moco council's actions."
Somehow you missed "#ThrowTheBumsOut #LockThemUp" at the end of this article?
All this hate is because Dyer is not jewish. In Bethesds or Potomac, you have to be jewish to be respected. I grew up with these peopke too in Bethesda and know the reality of it. Dyer knows it too. They do have an unhealthy infatuation with Dyer though.
ReplyDeleteJesus, Mary, and Joseph, Dyer. I can't fathom why Google doesn't take you seriously as a news source.
ReplyDeleteProtocols of the Elders of the MoCo Cartel
ReplyDeleteTeh Joos... they're everywhere
ReplyDeletehttp://washingtonjewishweek.com/39701/three-jews-vie-for-moco-executive-job/featured-slider-post/
And nonsense like this post is why no one can take Dyer seriously as a "journalist." This blog exists primarily to attack the County government (and commenters questioning any of his opinions), actual news reporting is secondary.
ReplyDeleteThis little blog makes him feel big and important in a cruel harsh world.
ReplyDeleteTrolling him makes readers feel big and powerful.
Win - win situation.
^^Taking my big, powerful self to work now. See ya tomorrows.
