Kenwood Cherry Blossoms at night (Photos)
The cherry blossoms in full bloom at night take on a completely different character along the streets of Kenwood. Let's take a look.
With only two exceptions, all of Robert Dyer's articles in the past month have been posted between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. About 80% were posted at 8:00 AM. And all but 2 were posted exactly on the hour or the half-hour, suggesting that hey were written previously but automatically posted at a chosen hour.
8:03 PM Eater (Vox) is a digital native publisher, like Suburban News Network. The Washington Post, Washingtonian, Sentinel, et al are legacy print publications.
7:54: No, they didn't - I was first to report both that they were coming to Bethesda, and then the opening date (which i reported a full 3 days before Eater). Man, you just made a fool of yourself. The tomatoes on the Sooo Cali look a lot more ripe in my photos - not sure what your criticism was on those other than sour grapes.
Wow, you've been reading every entry for the last 2 months to note the posting time, and now you claim you don't know what I've reported?
Classic Saul Alinsky tactics to force me to spend time going back and typing out all of my scoops "in the past month alone." Not gonna do it, but just this week I broke the story about the Connie Morella Library, Council taking money from the disabled for slush fund, new Bank of America branch, not to mention the big Redwood closing scoop before those.

The screwy weather really took a toll on the blossoms this year. Some started blooming in the heat of February!
ReplyDeleteAnyone else notice how the color seems dull? Even on sunny days?
I love the Cherry Blossoms!
ReplyDeleteWhich is worse - a man who wakes up at 4pm or a man running for county council and waking up at 4pm?
ReplyDelete12:50pm lol...Dyer has reporting all day. Unless he is reporting while napping, according to you.

ReplyDelete3:22 PM Impressive attention to detail! I recommend Robert hire you to his Council staff. Intern perhaps?
ReplyDelete12:50: If what you claimed were true, how do you figure I've been able to scoop the local media on so many stories in just the last month alone?
ReplyDelete3:22: Publication times have been 8:00, 10:00 and 1:00 for many years. There's nothing new whatsoever about that.
What would you cite as your scoops "in the past month alone"?
ReplyDeleteDC Eater scooped you on the opening of Dog Haus Biergarten and they had a much better review.
I wonder if Dyer considers DC Eater to be part of the "old local legacy print media".
