Mystery drilling operation underway in Bethesda garage (Photos)

Drilling for oil? The drilling company vehicles long parked outside the public garage on Cordell Avenue are now being put to work - inside the garage. It's quite an operation, but Montgomery County did not feel it necessary to inform the public as to its duration or purpose.

7:24 AM Yes, it would be terrible to have a Bethesda resident representing on the Council. lol...

Dyer would have amazing constituent service for downtown Bethesda folks, unlike what we have currently.

7:42 AM This is a good time to remind everyone that Sears is still open.

It's going to be awesome having a County Executive who lives in Bethesda's Pike & Rose!

One mention of the Sears debacle and the trolls go crazy.

  9. That started way-y-y before the Sears comment. heehee

Oh, "Roald" you silly goose. You're just an anonymous as the others. I still wonder what keeps you from posting under a real name.

I see welding tanks and sections of cast iron pipe. Replacing old storm drainage, methinks.

This concludes my low-effort observation of this low-effort post.

I bet it's Elon Musk's Boring Company. Hyperloop direct to Bethesda! Thanks Riemer!

How come no report on EDENS leaving bethesda for union market? MoCo losing jobs to NE DC? That is absolutely pathetic and our leaders should be held accountable for this.

The Sears fake news was pushed so hard, I bet they've lost business.

4:59 AM Dyer will have more important things to work on the Council than anonymous online trolls.

  15. Reminding "Roald", once again, that he/she also is just an anonymous online troll.

Like I said yesterday, I still wonder what keeps you from posting under a real name, rather than anonymously. Could it be shame?

8:16 AM / 8:18 AM This is my name. I'm sorry if that bothers you.

  17. Sweetie, you can go by whatever name you want, it doesn't bother me.
But you're still posting anonymously. If I copy your post it shows thusly:
    " Anonymous Roald said...

8:16 AM / 8:18 AM This is my name. I'm sorry if that bothers you."

    So I reiterate:
Roald is still an anonymous troll...of the Shill genus.

I do question that your name is actually "Roald" but I grant that you post here using that moniker.

A recent E-mail from the Bethesda Regional Service Center indicates that the construction is to repair part of the elevator mechanism in the garage.
