The ground floor restaurant space at 7770 Norfolk formerly home to Community is now available for lease. It's a prime spot and high-traffic location in the burgeoning Woodmont Triangle neighborhood, facing Veterans Park. There were high hopes for the upscale diner concept here, but it remains a location with great potential for the right restaurateur, chain or concept. And with the bonus of potential "room service" delivery business, for well-off tenants living in the luxury apartments upstairs.

That's the problem. The wrong concepts keep opening in the downtown area. Bethesda should not be so far behind DC in terms of interesting and tasty food concepts. It's embarrassing actually. Yes, DC has a lot of young people. But Bethesda has a lot of money and older people want good food of all types too don't they? Places will continue to fail. It's just incredible.
That place is cursed.
That can certainly happen with a location. Think of the old Hard Times spot. I would say that if a local restaurant group or one from out of town came in, and knew what they were doing, and did their research, both those locations would crush it. Problem is, places that come in, suck ass and fail within the first 12 months.

A quicker-than-light neutrino walks into a bar.
I don't know about cursed. Foong Lin lasted a pretty long time in that spot.
