New look for Louisiana Kitchen in Bethesda

Louisiana Kitchen, the longtime Bethesda Cajun restaurant that thankfully continues to thrive on Cordell Avenue, has upgraded its exterior appearance. A new awning was just installed. With the closure of Acadiana in the District, the flavors of New Orleans continue to be a fairly rare find in the region.

At the end of the day, if you go online to attack people who you don't know, you are only making it brutally apparent how insecure and unhappy you are.

New Orleans cuisine is not rare in this area, and you should know that. Let's start with Kelly's Cajun Grill in Gaithersburg, Gumbo YaYa in Germantown, Bourbon Street Cafe in Wheaton, Live Crawfish & Seafood in Rockville (which you wrote about), and if you want to stretch it Popeyes which is allover the damn place. Gimme a break! Poor azzed blogging.

  4. 8:00AM ?? not a clue.

The new awning looks great. Love a good awning. Especially stripes, but Kapnos' was too long and too boring.

8:19 AM With the new year, I'm turning my attention to 2018 taxes. Can you share your business contact info? You've said you work in the tax field. Thanks!

  6. Steve, I'm not here to solicit business, so my answer is no. I'm sure Mr. Dyer would happily refer you to his accountant. But thanks for thinking of me first!

  8. 8:05: Thank you for making my point by listing only a handful of restaurants that are Cajun on the MoCo/DC dining landscape.
