Clove & Cedar Coffee Bar is taking over the vacant Gold Leaf Bakery space in the Bainbridge Bethesda luxury apartment tower at 4918 St. Elmo Avenue. Wednesday was a big day for signs in downtown Bethesda, and Clove & Cedar was one of the businesses that put up some "Coming Soon" signage yesterday. Construction is underway inside, but still in the early phases. I can see the actual coffee "bar" is starting to take shape.
Sounds like a nice addition to the area. Thanks for the notification. I’m sure area residents will enjoy a new place to meet up at night and discuss the failing night life. I hope their hours extend to at least 9 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, like many of the coffee shops in Bethesda Row, at least this time of year..
