More Poke Dojo signage on Bethesda Lane
Poke Dojo has installed a blade sign, a sign that faces pedestrians walking past the front of the restaurant. They will be opening soon here on Bethesda Lane at Bethesda Row.
Perpendicular blade signs are actually a lease requirement at Federal Realty for all retail and restaurants in their mixed use developments. They are proven to aid in pedestrian wayfinding, and help animate the streetscape. Creativity is encouraged but most tenants opt for a simple rectangle. Blade signs have been used for centuries along pedestrian paths, like a big boot hanging out in front of a shoemaker shop.
Deletes comments he doesn't like in clear violation of imaginary policy. A mere mention of getting scooped on Joe and the Juice coming to Wildwood warrants a deletion? Sore loser.
Dyer scooped you on LebTav moving in Silver Spring (location confirmed), Fat Fingers, Hakuna Matata in Wheaton, Katsu Go soft opening in Rockville, Moves at Mama Lucia, Remix moving, Go Stir Fry Express opening in Wheaton with menus, the replacement for zpizza's space in Silver Spring...this is just the past day.
MORE signs???

ReplyDeleteBethesda Magazine apparently is doing recaps "The Bachelorette", so there's that.
