Mamma Lucia selling furniture ahead of remodeling

Mamma Lucia at Bethesda Row is selling "all tables, chairs and booths for the best offer," according to an online listing. The restaurant says it is remodeling. A permit filed with Montgomery County seeks to split the restaurant's space in half. The newly-created Elm Street space is rumored to be the future location of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams.

My guess is a much smaller dining space with all of the tables and chairs being sold off.

Big competition coming next door with Matchbox! Matchbox has great pizza

It isn't that good. Matchbox will certainly put them out of business. Their food, service and ambiance is far superior to Lucia.

12:08pm yup...Mamma Lucia fits well in fallsgrove, but they can't compete with brunch at Matchbox.

    Bye bye Lucia's!

The school cafeteria has better pizza than Matchbox. As for Mamma Lucia, very average food for the cost...
