Chinese Express becomes Bite of Asia in Bethesda

Chinese Express has rebranded as Bite of Asia at 7613 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. They promise "irresistible luncheon specials" and sushi along with standard Chinese favorites. Other specialties include ostrich meat, goat and lamb.

Another crappy Chinese place. Bethesda food choices will never be as good as we deserve.

How can you say that without even having visited it?
Plus, do you even know what good ostrich meat is supposed to taste like?

  3. Is this restaurant any relation to A Bite of China in Rockville?

  4. 4:22: No idea, but I doubt it; they would probably be consistent in branding if they were running a chain.

Do they have the same owners as Chinese Express? If not, I might try it out, otherwise no because their food was mediocre at best, literally sickening the last time I ate there.

I wouldn’t eat anything from here based on the person’s lack of moral. After lightly tooting my horn to inform the driver that I may have been in his blind side, the owner/driver of Bite of Asia practiced road rage by constantly getting in front of my car and slamming his brakes. He then tried to ram into the side of my car. While at the light, he constantly threw the f-u finger sign at me and cursed while I was on the phone with 911. He had the nerve to do all of this with a HUGE Christian cross hanging from his rear view mirror.

He was driving a Mercedes suv with DC tag #FK-1538. I called 911, but was told that nothing could be done if he didn’t actually crash into my car.
