Heavy rain and sometimes-gusty winds passed through the D.C. area early this morning. Pepco reports one power outage in the Bethesda area at this hour. The outage is around Executive Boulevard in North Bethesda; Pepco does not identify the specific number of customers affected, but only 39 Pepco customers systemwide are without power at the moment, so it is only a few. Pepco estimates the power will be restored in North Bethesda by 10:00 AM this morning.
