The temporary closure of Booeymonger at 4600 East-West Highway in Bethesda quietly became permanent some time ago. Now the space has been cleared out. They did well there for years. Covid has been no joke for retailers. With few in their offices, it's nearly impossible in that location to make any money.
ReplyDeleteCovid was probably the only thing that could sink this place.... It's too bad.
ReplyDeleteWhat else could do well in this space right now? Nobody's going to the office buildings. This space is just going to sit there unfortunately.
Moribund!
I loved that place. The brewed iced tea was awesome. I am going to miss it. I never thought the Friendship height's location was as good although the Georgetown one was excellent.
ReplyDeleteLoved that place.
ReplyDeleteCovid19 is killing people and businesses.
ReplyDeleteHow long was this location here?
Were the employees of Beth able to work in FH or Georgetown locations?
So sorry they're gone. Their chile was awesome.
