Bangkok Garden closing in Bethesda after 37 years
Another one of the longest-running businesses still operating in downtown Bethesda, Bangkok Garden, will call it quits near the end of the month. According to a sign posted at the restaurant at 4906 St. Elmo Avenue, its last day will be Sunday, August 29, 2021. "The end of an era," reads the sign.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. This has been my family's favorite Thai place for twenty years. Frankly, one of our favorite restaurants, period. This is a genuine loss for the area. That's a terrible shame.
ReplyDeleteTheir daughter has a restaurant in Rockville. Same name, same menu, same prep.
ReplyDeleteHope they enjoy their retirement!
ReplyDeleteEnd of an era indeed. Damn. That's a shame.
