They have Infrastructure Week in Washington, D.C., but this is apparently Canopy Week in Montgomery County. Yesterday, we took a look at the new canopy at Highland House in Friendship Heights. Today, here is the new, lighted sign on the canopy above the entrance to The Seasons apartment tower at 4710 Bethesda Avenue. This is the latest addition to a major makeover of the entrance and ground floor retail areas of this classic Nathan Landow-developed building.

New sign at The Seasons apartments in Bethesda (Photos)
They have Infrastructure Week in Washington, D.C., but this is apparently Canopy Week in Montgomery County. Yesterday, we took a look at the new canopy at Highland House in Friendship Heights. They did a nice job to clean up the storefronts, retail canopy, lighting, signage, planters, landscaping and the plaza paving at this building. It looks much more premium than before the renovation. It would be nice if they refreshed the upper pert of the tower as well. Perhaps some more modern balcony balustrades in glass or metal. I believe its a fairly affordable place to rent an apartment in Bethesda Row. I wonder if they will be refreshing the apartment lobby, common areas and rental units as well. New wood floors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances would be a good start.
