East-West Galleries has closed at 4825 Fairmont Avenue in downtown Bethesda. Their space has been cleared out. The antiques pop-up will likely be back here or at a different downtown location in the future, as it has moved around in the Woodmont Triangle over the years. It has been at this storefront for about 10 months. In the meantime, check out their artwork, furniture, rugs and antiques on their website for online shopping.

Have you checked out their prices? $1200 for a stupid clown painting, not even as good as the cheesy artwork they sell outside the Farm Womens Market. I can’t believe they can stay in business charging insane overpriced prices for items of questionable quality.
ReplyDelete"Gallery" is a very broad word: this wasn't as much an Art Gallery as befitting the tony side of Old Bethesda as it was a rent reduced 'pop up' in "New (read: Future) Bethesda."
DeleteThe real future is in ""North" Bethesda," until that too eventually loses its luster.
