Veterans Day 2024 saw the annual placement of wreaths around the veterans' memorial at Veterans Park in downtown Bethesda. Each one was sponsored by a community organization or elected official. Individuals and groups represented in the park included the Bethesda Urban Partnership, the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce, the Bethesda Historical Society, and Montgomery County Councilmember Andrew Friedson. You mean the CEX was not present at this annual event?
ReplyDeleteThe CEX doesn't like questions.
Deletereally enjoyed listening to the band, respectful and well done.. The only shame was the construction on the building on Woodmont Avenue still drilling away and droning out the band..
ReplyDeleteQué? No entiendo
DeleteWhere? Are the apartments at Woodmont & Cordell finally being built?!
DeleteThe event was organized by five Mongomery chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution with music by B-CC students and a great speech on the new Space Force! Come join us annually on Nov 11 at 11 am!
ReplyDeleteMy heartfelt thanks to all those in charge of continuing this local worthy remembrance every year. #BuyAPoppy!
