Volvo XC40 arrives in Bethesda (Photos)

Volvo's newest model has arrived in downtown Bethesda. Ourisman Volvo/VW on Arlington Road has the new XC40 compact SUV on display out in front of their dealership. The Swedish automaker is making the XC40 available by subscription, in addition to traditional sales.

The new EuroMotorcars Bethesda Volvo dealership has opened on Woodmont Avenue. Signage at the related auto service facilities on River Road has been updated to reflect the EuroMotorcars branding. The Volvo XC70 wagon retains many of the classic lines that made it a ubiquitous presence in Bethesda driveways for decades. But the XC90 (pictured here) represents the current demand for crossover SUVs.

CARS ARRIVE AT NEW BETHESDA VOLVO DEALERSHIP (PHOTOS)

You can't have a Volvo dealership without Volvos. Quite a few of the cars have now been situated in EuroMotorcars soon-to-open Bethesda Volvo dealership on Woodmont Avenue. The remodeled showroom was previously used for EM's Rolls Royce and Bentley operations.

BETHESDA VOLVO CONSTRUCTION UPDATE (PHOTOS)

The interior of the former Bentley/Rolls Royce facility on Woodmont Avenue has been transformed for the showroom's rebirth as EuroMotorcars Bethesda Volvo. Furnishings and art seem to reflect the Swedish roots of the brand. As you can see, there is more furniture to arrange inside, and - of course - the cars have to be added eventually.

Here's a construction update from EuroMotorcars' future Bethesda Volvo dealership, located on Woodmont Avenue. The permanent sign is up on the building facade, and work continues indoors and out.

Here's a look at the progress so far on the interior; as you can see, it's a sizable space, and there's still quite a ways to go on this project. This dealership was formerly home to EuroMotorcars' Rolls Royce and Bentley operations.
