VKB Kitchen & Bath opening Bethesda location
VKB Kitchen & Bath is coming soon to 7613 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. The award-winning remodeling firm has leased the former Forbes Design Center space. Forbes has moved to 7272 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite #10-104. VKB features many well-known design brands, including Dupont, Cosentino, Caesarstone, Medallion, and Wellborn Cabinet. Farrow & Ball opens at Bethesda Row
Farrow & Ball has opened its new Bethesda Row showroom at 7118 Bethesda Lane, next to Simon Pearce and The Shade Store. Operating in Dorset, England since 1946, Farrow & Ball has developed an international reputation for wall coverings of rich color and the highest-quality materials. The showroom offers sales, color consultations, and decorating inspiration and advice. This is one of many recent additions that have increasingly made Bethesda Row a one-stop shop for home decor and interior design, from furniture to accessories and even house plants.

Farrow & Ball to open Bethesda Row store
Farrow & Ball, a U.K.-based paint and wallpaper brand, will open a showroom at Bethesda Row this December, property owner Federal Realty announced this morning. It will be located at 7118 Bethesda Lane, next to Simon Pearce and The Shade Store. Like those neighbors, and several other recent additions to the development, Farrow & Ball will provide yet another option for those seeking to update their home design and decor.
The showroom will offer sales, color consultations, and decorating inspiration and advice. Operating in Dorset, England since 1946, Farrow & Ball has developed an international reputation for wall coverings of rich color and the highest-quality materials. This will be their second location in the area; Farrow & Ball currently has a showroom in Friendship Heights.

ULTIMATE HOME DESIGN CENTER TAKES OVER ARUT RUG SPACE IN BETHESDA (PHOTOS)
One of the ubiquitous rug shops on Wisconsin Avenue - Arut Oriental Rugs - has closed its doors.
A new tenant, Ultimate Home Design Center, is moving in. Designed as a one-stop decorating and remodeling center, the store is opening just as Bethesda real estate is heating up again.
UHDC is located at 7942 Wisconsin Avenue.

Interiors of Washington, a 20-year-old interior design studio, is moving from Bradley Boulevard into the old Memenza Jewelers space on Norfolk Avenue.
There'll be quite a racket there in the short term, as the Norfolk-Cordell II project is being built right next door. That site's old building has been demolished, as regular readers know.
