WOW Cellphone Repair has just opened in downtown Bethesda. In addition to fixing your phone, they also repair tablets, computers and game consoles. The shop is located in the Shoppes of Bethesda on Hampden Lane, where The Lauren sales office used to be.
On what planet is this interesting news? Do you think BM would ever have to dig so deep to find a story to post about a cell phone store opening? Thats about as lucky as Dyer getting lucky this century aka "ain't gonna happen"
ReplyDelete12:40pm keep your smelly BM to yourself
Delete*likely* not lucky
ReplyDeleteIs this Dyer's new job? Maybe he got kicked out of his mom's basement finally and this is #sponsoredcontent about how he really pays the bills?
ReplyDeleteDyer must be doing well if folks are comparing his network of sites to a legacy magazine that purports to have $1 million annual revenues and a full staff.
ReplyDeleteMust be nice not to be beholden to business requirements. Being self funded and independently wealthy and all.

Delete1:35pm so, you're saying Dyer has an advantage by not having $1 million in revenue, a print mag, interns, freelancers and funded affiliate sites? Dyer is one guy compared to all of that. Give him some credit. He's well established and active in the community.
DeleteActually yes I am. Especially in regards to Dyer's criticisms regarding his "competition".
DeleteDyer complains BM is beholden to advertisers, sponsors, and relationships. While it has been argued that Dyer is also beholden to relationships (Greenhill, Karr), not having to care about advertiser or sponsor opinion allows for more true free speech unaffected by the need not to piss off the people paying the bill.
Being independently wealthy also means Dyer can run his blog without worrying about paying the bills, rent, employees, etc. Dyer is free to spend his time doing whatever he wants, and his blogs are what he chooses to do. Not needing to care about money frees you up quite a bit.
When Aaron posts as "Andrea", does he slip into women's undergarments?
DeleteSerious question- not judging.
Andrea. Agreed.
ReplyDeleteAnd the basis for the hate is their envy.
