The Metropolitan Police Department has released a description of a suspect believed to be involved in several recent armed robberies in Spring Valley and the Palisades, just over the D.C. line, and his vehicle.
Police describe the suspect as being black, in his 20s, slim but athletic build, and 5'8"-5'10" in height. He was wearing a black jacket, a grey hat or grey hoodie, and dark pants. His vehicle is a dark, four-door sedan, which police say may be an Audi.

Disorderly conduct. 4900 block St. Elmo Avenue.
Assault. 7200 block Woodmont Avenue.
Vehicle burglary. 4400 block Montgomery Avenue.
Drug arrest. Fairfax Road at Wilson Lane.
Burglary. 7100 block Glenbrook Road.
Theft. 5300 block Western Avenue.
Sexual assault. 5800 block Johnson Avenue (around 1:00 AM).
Domestic violence assault. 10200 block Grosvenor Place.
Theft. 5100 block Pooks Hill Road.
