The lights are on in the Brightview Bethesda, even if nobody's home yet. This new addition to the skyline in the Woodmont Triangle on Rugby Avenue is now visible from nearby streets at night. An assisted living apartment building, the project has been developed by Shelter Development, and the construction contractor is Bethesda's Donohoe.

BREAKING NEWS: "Light bulbs turned on..."
..."Two days ago."
LOL
I'm not a big fan of the beige brick, especially when combined with the terra-cotta colored brick. This whole part of town seems to use this light color masonry, including the new police station. This color always reminds me of a 1950's elementary school. Not very warm and welcoming for the oldlings. Great views of the roof of the paint store await!
Not exactly a "Brightview" at 3 o'clock in the morning.
But from this southern exposure, those beige and terra cotta bricks are quite cheerful in the midday sun.
