Attman's Delicatessen has only been at its new location at 12505 Park Potomac Drive for a few months, but is already planning to grow larger. It will acquire and remodel an adjacent vacant storefront to become part of its existing Park Potomac space.
I won't help, it's awful and that's why they closed at Cabin John. They didn't resonate with non-Jewish customers not to mention Jews themselves. I don't understand that. Attman's in Baltimore is one of the few authentic Jewish style delis in the world who have been family owned and in business for 100 years. MoCo was their first and only attempt to add locations and it's been an abject failure. They can expand but the damage of the reputation, at least among residents here, has already been done.
ReplyDeleteWorst vegetarian food I have ever come across. Truly horrible. Other delis offer much better - Parkway, Woodside...

ReplyDeleteTheir expansion would argue otherwise.
6:10 - No, that's not at all accurate. They aren't expanding, they moved because their " plan for expansion" to Cabin John, their second-only store during their 100 years in business, failed so they're trying a different neighborhood around the corner from an existing deli that does well and Jews and everyone else appreciate and enjoy. No, something's wrong there and they're just trying to figure out what it is.
