WSSC repairs downtown Bethesda water main break
A WSSC crew responded Tuesday afternoon to the water main break that has left standing water around the intersection of Woodmont and Norfolk Avenues since last Friday. It took most of the evening to complete the repairs.
Water flow from the faucets was reduced to a trickle in my residential building near the corner of Woodmont and Old Georgetown Road for hours while the repairs were taking place, and I'm sure we weren't the only ones. Water pressure had been restored to normal by around 10 or 11 PM. Why did WSSC wait for days before doing the repairs?
