Advance work for the 7000 Wisconsin Avenue development continues. There isn't much demolition of the existing structures on the site so far. One reader mentioned they may be working on the undergrounding of utilities. A large, blue crane was active at the site yesterday. Two southbound lanes of Wisconsin were blocked off for the work.

While the activity that is most visible with the cranes and excavators is for utilities, they have started work removing the windows and gutting the interior of 7000 Wisconsin.
