Montgomery Mall decorates for the holidays in Bethesda (Photos)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. Holiday decor has been set up for the 2025 holiday shopping season. A few additions have been made since last year. The menorah lighting has been scheduled for December 15 at 4:00 PM, in the Nordstrom wing near Zara.

So, they have a Menorah Lighting but aren't or cave have a Christmas tree lighting? Asking for a friend. And why did Wildwood Shipping Center remove its Christmas tree and Menorah from their roof?

As the Grateful Dead sang in "New Speedway Boogie" (1970), "Please don't dominate the rap, JAC / If you've got nothing new to say."

7:31 - One on my most cherished concert experiences was the amazing triple bill at RFK Stadium. It was an all-day event and typical DC weather of over 100°. Grateful Dead, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Bob Dylan. What a show.

7:19 - It's really been great to hear check out clerks at stores in recent years once again wish you a Merry Christmas instead of the PC, silly, Happy Holidays which means nothing.

Wondering if holiday killjoys are at it again this year is a worth inquiry.

Don't be silly. "Happy Holidays" is generally taken to refer to Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and even New Year's.
