Forbright Bank has closed its downtown Bethesda branch at 4801 Montgomery Lane. Customers are being directed to the bank's 1700 Rockville Pike branch. The Chevy Chase-based bank is the third-largest Maryland bank. Forbright was originally known as Congressional Bank.
