Police arrest 3 in White Flint robbery, assault

Montgomery County police have arrested three suspects in the November 16, 2024 strong-arm robbery in White Flint. The robbery took place at 7:52 PM that evening. According to police, the three suspects allegedly assaulted the two adult male victims in the 11600 block of Rockville Pike (MD 355), and took unspecified property from them. Tyshon Evans, 18, of Gaithersburg, Kiarra Twyman, 18, of Gaithersburg, and an unnamed juvenile male, 16, of Rockville were arrested in connection with the robbery.

Evans has been charged with felony robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and two counts of 2nd-degree assault. He posted $5000 bond, and has been released. Twyman does not appear in Maryland court records, despite being an adult, but no charging information regarding the 16-year-old juvenile will be made public, either.

Maybe since MCPD emulates DCPD so much i.e. the blue lights, wristslapping, etc, the second adult that is not charged might be a high school student. DC at one time, maybe even today, sometime extended age of majority to bridge high school.

Blue lights on police cars. . . again? Can we get past that fixation on this site? OK, they let potential wrongdoers know when the police are around-- but they also help people who need help, or want to report something, locate police cars.

Today's continuing MoCo thug mentality. I didn't Google the address location but really hope the victims weren't live music fans coming or going from Hank Dietle's.

Call the cops on your cell phone, if you still have it. At least our cop cars aren't wifi enabled like DCs. You cab check for them in your 'hood by looking at your wifi reception. Don't get me started on why illuminating stealthy light bars on police cruisers is stupid and lazy.
