The Food Market is now open at 4720 Hampden Lane, in the ground floor of the Hampden House apartment tower in downtown Bethesda. Serving American cuisine, The Food Market is one of the most anticipated restaurants openings of the year in Bethesda. This is the third Food Market to open in Maryland. The other two are in Baltimore and Columbia.
What's on the menu? That's a surprise when you enter the restaurant, as the menu has not yet been posted on the website. But here is a sneak peek at the decor:

The Bethesda menu is on the website...
How do you access it?
Put your cursor over "BETHESDA" to access a drop-down menu.

Go here: https://www.the-food-market.com/about-bethesda then the hamburger menu then click on the + under Bethesda and it’s a sub-heading.
I couldn't come up with a more generic name if I tried. "An Eating Restaurant" "The Meal Store" "The Food Market"
GrubStop, Calorie Co, Diner
@6:50 -- that's by design, to assure diners of the restaurant's bona fides as hip and ironic. Customers can sup in confidence, knowing they are the tip of the trendy spear, and not at all gullible marks, easily fleeced, whose unhealed kidhood psychic wounds of not belonging can be temporarily salved by parting with only $12 for a pretzel, $18 for a hot chicken sandwich, or $52 for an under-a-pound "big" crabcake.
I assume the Venn diagram of Bethesda diners will show a substantial overlap of patrons between this place and The Salt Line, and clip joint preying on the naive and credulous.
Fools and their money. . .
