Work temporarily blocks the way around downtown Bethesda
Two projects are blocking the way for pedestrians and drivers in downtown Bethesda. Construction on a sidewalk upgrade at the intersection of Woodmont Avenue and Hampden Lane has temporarily closed the sidewalk on the east side of Woodmont for the block immediately north of Hampden Lane.
Maintenance on the Woodmont Corner garage at Old Georgetown Road and Woodmont Avenue has temporarily closed the entrance on the Old Georgetown side. Cars can exit, but cars entering had to use the Woodmont entrance last night.
